Soil Association Certification has negotiated an exclusive offer for its licensees to exhibit at Natural & Organic Products Asia in Hong Kong later this month.

The shows is expected to bring together over 5000 industry professionals from around the world, all eager to tap into one of the fastest growing organic markets. With China’s organic sales increasing 350% year-on-year, and strong growth in countries like South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam, a key focus for the Soil Association is to provide support and know-how for its licensees to get in on the action.

DSC_8065Soil Association Certification senior certification officer Alex Hart said: “It’s a very exciting time for organic exports. In 2014 we partnered with Chinese organic certification body OFDC to make it simpler and cheaper for the UK’s organic businesses to export to China, and Natural & Organic Products Asia is a great opportunity for organic producers to find out more. OFDC will be joining us on the Soil Association Certification pavilion at the event to support the partnership. We are working to provide UK businesses with the trade insights and territory guidance to enable them to reach out further into the booming export market.”

As well as creating opportunities in Asia, Soil Association Certification helps to promote licensees trading in Western Europe, North America and the Nordics, through key events like Natural & Organic Products Asia’s sibling shows Natural & Organic Products Europe and Natural Products Scandinavia, along with leading US show Expo West.
