H&B doubles size of HQ

Following its recent purchase by L1 Retail, Holland and Barrett has doubled the size of its global headquarters at Eliot Park in Nuneaton.

Coventry-based Deeley Construction undertook the multi-million pound development, which gives the company an extra 48,000sqft and includes an on-site gym and nursery.

The new state-of-the-art building will eventually house 500 staff.

“We moved to Eliot Park in 2010 and it has been a great base from which to grow the company,” comments Holland & Barrett International’s CEO Peter Aldis (pictured middle). “We are delighted that we have been able to expand on site to meet our plans to grow the business and we are very pleased with the work Deeley Construction has undertaken.

“It’s important to us that everyone in the team is happy while they are at work and that’s why we have included additional elements such as a gym and nursery, as we know these are key facilities for our staff.”

Martin Gallagher (pictured left), managing director of Deeley Construction, adds: “We have worked on behalf of Holland & Barrett International for many years and we are extremely proud to have completed this extension for the company.

“Eliot Park is a classic example of regeneration which Deeley Group has led over many decades and this latest phase shows Holland & Barrett’s commitment to the region.”
