Top expert asks – “is NADH the most singularly important compound for the body?”

NADH (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide hydride) has been steadily gaining a reputation for being one of the most promising natural substances in the body.

One of the world’s most preeminent experts on antioxidants, Dr Richard Passwater, has commented on the ‘energy co-enzyme’ that “while there is no such thing as a singularly ‘most important’ compound in the body, or even a ‘most important antioxidant’, NADH comes as close a single compound can”.

NADH is a biological form of hydrogen. It reacts with the oxygen present in every living cell, producing energy and water. The more NADH a cell has available the more energy it can produce, the better it functions and the longer the cell – and the entire organism – lives.

A growing body of peer-reviewed international research confirms the extraordinary range of physiological functions that NADH fulfills: It increases energy in heart cells and repairs damaged DNA; it’s a potent antioxidant and has been shown to lower cholesterol and high blood pressure; it strengthens the immune system and stimulates production of dopamine and serotonin.

The range of health conditions for which NADH has been shown to be beneficial is equally expansive – ranging from chronic fatigue syndrome to depression, diabetes to raised stroke risk, and from Alzheimer’s disease to cancer.

Professor George Birkmayer , one of the world’s leading experts on NADH – and the scientist who developed the stabilized formula of this powerful natural substance – will be presenting a high level presentation on the subject at this month’s camexpo exhibition in London.

Professor Birkmayer will give his highly anticipated talk ‘NADH co-enzym1 – the singularly most important compound for the human body’ at 11.15-11.45 on Saturday 26 September in the Demo Theatre. Professor Birkmayer will also be present on the Professor George Birkmayer NADH stand (stand 1ZG) on the show floor.

• camexpo takes place at Olympia, London, on September 26-26 2015.
