Organic Food & Eco Living Iberia closes its most international edition with the visit of nearly 4,500 professionals

Madrid, June 2024.- The fifth edition of Organic Food & Eco Living Iberia closes as the most international after the attendance of nearly 4,500 professionals from 56 countries on all continents, as well as exhibitors from 28 countries, consolidating itself as the professional meeting point par excellence of the organic sector held in the Iberian Peninsula.

Throughout the days of June 4 and 5, Pavilion 4 of IFEMA MADRID was filled with the proposals, products and services of more than 350 exhibitors from more than 28 countries , among which the participation of Ambassadors and advisors is worth mentioning. from Argentina, Nicaragua, Ecuador, El Salvador, Brazil, Honduras, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Panama, United Kingdom, Austria, Hungary, Tunisia and the United States.

He also highlighted the important Spanish representation, where autonomous communities such as Andalusia, Comunitat Valenciana, Castilla-La Mancha, Region of Murcia, Community of Madrid, Navarra, Castilla y León, Galicia and Catalonia showed their value proposition and their commitment to the organic segment. .

Organic, natural and sustainable products in the agri-food, wine, beverage, beauty, textile, eco-packaging, health and well-being sectors filled the halls of the exhibition areas Organic Food Iberia , Eco Living Iberia , Organic Wine Iberia , Organic Fresh Iberia and Olive Oil Tasting Gallery . Also noteworthy is the large influx of businessmen, buyers, retailers and professionals to top-level conferences and round tables that were offered in the Organic Talks by Bio Eco Actual  and Eco Talks auditoriums . The program addressed cross-cutting issues of special importance for the sector, such as the situation of the specialized channel, the keys and strategies for export, political proposals for sustainability in the face of the European elections, as well as limitations on the use of toxic substances. in agriculture. With rooms full of people, the sessions became a hive of exchange of ideas and creation of synergies between speakers and attendees.

In the B2B lounge, the Hosted Buyers program , belonging to the fair and organized by the FIAB as partner and client, facilitated a total of 260 business meetings between the 66 exhibiting companies and the 50 participating international buyers. Thus, on average, four meetings were held per exhibiting company. Furthermore, along with the meetings organized at the fair by Organic Food Iberia in collaboration with the FIAB, 600 additional meetings were held through the LIVE Connect platform and 60 under the umbrella of the Meet The Buyer activity , with the participation of the organic chains Veritas, Herbolario Navarro and NaturaSì.
