Vegan tuna is the catch of the day from Loma Linda

American sustainable plant-based protein brand Loma Linda is launching its innovative vegan seafood alternative, Tuno, into the UK at Natural & Organic Products Europe in April.

Cited as the first product of its kind to launch in the UK, gluten-free Tuno is made with soya protein and is said to have the light flaky texture of tinned tuna.

Available in tins and on-the-go pouches, Tuno comes in a range of flavours including Spring Water, Lemon Pepper, Sweet Chilli, Mayo and Sesame Ginger.

Brand owner Atlantic Natural Foods and distributor Worldwide Food Associates will also showcase Loma Linda’s range of ambient plant-based ready meals inspired by six global recipes: Spicy Pad Thai, Thai Green Curry, Thai Red Curry, Tikka Masala, Chipotle Bowl and Hearty Stew.
