Natural, carbon negative performance-led botanical skincare brand KAEĀ has now launched in the UK with its four-strong collection.

The New Zealand brand was created by Suzan Craig – founder of conservation nature sanctuary Tahi – and blends traditional plant wisdom with Tahi’s biodiversity-positive UMF 15+ Manuka honey to create a range of clinically-proven bioactive products that treat the skin holistically.

The multifunctional, waterless products – The Cleanser, The Vitaliser, The Rejuvenator and The Rescuer – which contain a proprietary complex of high performance actives formulated from biodiverse, botanical concentrates and essential oils.

The Cleanser is a three-in-one multi-active gel balm that removes impurities, melts away make-up and nourishes the skin. Developed with Tahi UMF 15+ Manuka honey to actively purify and clean, leaving skin feeling refreshed, rebalanced and glowing with vitality.

The Vitaliser light face oil rapidly penetrates the skin to deliver over 26 cell-nourishing, skin-renewing natural actives for visibly revitalized, radiant skin. Clinically proven to improve skin firmness by 77%, it contains vitamins A and E, omega fatty acids, blackcurrant seed oil, harakeke seed oil and sacha inchi seed oil.

The Rejuvenator face balm is infused with phytonutrients, plant extracts and seed oils, and clinically proven to improve firmness by 60%, while increasing skin hydration and elasticity and reducing redness. Featuring Tahi’s UMF 15+ Manuka honey, it supports collagen formation, boosts moisture and reduces the appearance of fine lines.

The Rescuer provides intensive care for skin repair through an infusion of soothing botanical concentrates and Tahi’s UMF 15+ Manuka honey. The rescue balm calms irritations, protects against bacteria and supports healing. Clinically proven to improve firmness by 60%, skin is repaired and replenished.

“KAEĀ’s guiding principle is to put sustainability and quality at the heart of everything we do,” says founder Suzan Craig. “Our business is run by nature, for nature, and we are committed to continuing to challenge ourselves and the industry to find more sustainable ways to bring to you the products you need, in a way the planet can cope with.”
