Keeping the Faith: natural beauty pioneer revives pack return scheme

Natural beauty pioneer Faith in Nature is reviving a scheme from its early days, encouraging customers to return product containers to its manufacturing facilities.

Under the new scheme, customers with empty five-litre Faith in Nature containers can post them back to the company’s headquarters in Radcliffe, Manchester, where the empty containers will be cleaned and reused in the Faith in Nature supply chain.

The vegan, cruelty-free beauty brand was founded over 40 years ago with a mission to produce effective, affordable products from naturally-derived sources. The company has used recycled plastic for its packaging for many years and the plastic it uses is widely recyclable but it recognizes the need to adapt and become even greener.

Joy Parkinson, chief executive officer of Faith in Nature, says: “At Faith in Nature, we are very aware of the impact of plastics on the environment and are always looking at ways to reduce our waste consumption to help our planet. Our new 5L recycling initiative is the perfect way to get our loyal customers involved and on board.

“As a thank you for participating, upon receipt of your empty five litre container, we will then present you with a 20% off code for you next five litre purchase from our website.”
