Soap Folk adds to organic collection

Organic skincare company Soap Folk has added two new soaps to its offer: Juniper Berry Soap and Lemon & Bergamot.

Juniper Berry Soap has a warm and woody scent and is particularly good for problem skin, says the brand, while still being gentle enough for the whole family to use. Enriched with organic juniper berry essential oil, which offers mild antibacterial properties, the soap also contains natural kaolin clay, which provides gentle oil absorbing and soothing qualities.

The brand says the inspiration for the new soap came from the juniper shrubs growing wild on the National Trust Commons near to its soapery.

Soap Folk Lemon & Bergamot Soap is designed to awaken the senses. ‘Sunshine in a bar’, it combines refreshing lemon essential oil with emotionally uplifting bergamot, to lend an unusual and sophisticated twist on a citrus fragrance. The natural unrefined tones of olive and sunflower oil, shine through to give this soap a pretty soft yellow hue. Suitable for all skin types, more oily skins will particularly benefit from the skin balancing qualities of the key ingredients.

All Soap Folk soaps are handmade in the Cotswolds using traditional cold processed methods. Certified organic by the Soil Association and suitable for vegetarians, they contain only natural ingredients, and are free from parabens, sulfates and palm oil.
