£1m ‘say Kallo’ campaign marks return to TV screens

Natural and organic food pioneer Kallo, is launching its biggest ever TV advertising campaign today (3 September) as it aims for double digit growth in 2012. It’s the first time Kallo has been on TV in three years and marks a major new brand positioning – ‘Say Kallo to simple pleasures’, bringing its new manifesto to life.

Shot at Alexandra Palace and played out in the spirit of the manifesto, the ad highlights that you just can’t beat simple pleasures, and that with Kallo, it is as much about its products as it is the moments in which they are enjoyed.

The 20 second ad will on ITV terrestrial in the Meridian and Anglia regions, during popular prime time programmes and dramas.

In addition to the new advertising campaign, Kallo has recently refreshed its online presence with a brand new website – www.saykallo.com – and corresponding Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest pages. The website offers people the chance to upload favourite picnic spots, share recipe ideas and receive money off coupons. The brand has also recently rolled out stylish new packaging across all of its ranges which include Rice Cakes, Corn & Rice Snacks, Stock Cubes, Breadsticks and Gravy Granules.
