HangZing develops hangover tipple

HangZing has launched what is said to be the UK’s first drinkable hangover supplement using naturally functional ingredients to fight the negative impact of alcohol consumption.

Combining herbs, electrolytes and vitamins designed to provide a natural alternative to unhealthy ‘morning after’ go-tos, including painkillers and junk food, the product is available in Lychee & Lemongrass and Garden Mint.

HangZing fights hangovers in three ways, says the brand. First, it incorporates hepatoprotective herbs Hovenia dulcis, milk thistle, nopal cactus and Siberian ginseng to facilitate the breakdown of acetaldehyde into smaller components which can be passed through the system.

Aloe vera, turmeric and vitamin C then work together to reduce inflammation and neutralize acidity in the stomach to ease discomfort and boost the immune system.

Finally, electrolytes, including sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium and vitamin B complex (B1, B3, B6, B5, B12, B9) replenish the minerals and nutrients lost from drinking.

HangZing founder Mohit Wadhwani says: “HangZing is a ground-breaking innovation that is at the forefront of a bold new category for products specifically designed to combat the effect of hangovers. The new range is the ultimate solution for individuals that want to work hard and play hard and will cut the annual cost of hangovers to the UK economy, which is estimated at almost £2 billion a year in absenteeism and lost productivity.”

Suitable for vegans, the range comes in 100ml bottles and is sweetened with Canadian Maple Syrup.
