Chiller thriller! – new showcase for organic chilled food at Olympia show

The Soil Association and Natural Products publisher Diversified have teamed up to create a new showcase for organic chilled food and drink at this year’s Natural & Organic Products Europe.

The Soil Association Organic Chilled Food Pavilion has been launched to help licensees producing chilled products – including cheese, milk, yoghurt, butter, meat, fish, drinks, ice cream, desserts and ready-meals – present their ranges in a focused and compelling way to retail buyers at the show.

Commenting on the new initiative, the Soil Association’s Finn Cottle said: “Given that chilled food accounts for more than 40% of the overall organic market, it is ideal to have a dedicated area for buyers and attendees to visit and sample products. There is a great benefit in being part of an overall chilled pavilion to share resources and to network with similar companies selling to similar buyers.”

The Natural Food Show forms part of Natural & Organic Products Europe (Olympia, London,13-14 April). In its 18th year, the event delivers the largest gathering of organic buyers in the UK, along with over 1,000 overseas buyers from all of the major buying groups including – including independents, multiples, food service, wholesalers and distributors
