inSpiral winds down business

Following an announcement in July, natural and organic raw brand inSpiral Visionary Products has closed down following a decline in sales.

In a statement, the company explained: “Brexit added massive pressure from below as overnight most of our ingredients went up in price by 15% or more and the market towards high-end luxury health products changed – with more people now preferring cheaper and still ‘somewhat healthy’ products we struggled to remain competitive.”

The brand, which was founded in 2011 by Dominik Schnell, said that was one of the few that produced everything in-house at its own factory and that this had come with its own complications and challenges.

It also highlighted that it was the first company to launch fully compostable crisp packaging and was Europe’s biggest contract manufacturing raw food dehydration company.

On its website inSpiral thanked its customers for all their support.
