Kinetic holds ‘Taste of Harmony’ lunch to celebrate diversity

Last week, to coincide with the finishing of several team members’ Ramadan, Kinetic Natural Products Distributor held a ‘Taste of Harmony’ lunch.

Kinetic’s multicultural team hails from no less than 27 different countries, including Trinidad & Tobago, St Lucia, Uzbekistan, Ghana, Greece, Kosovo, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka England, Wales, and of course Tunisia where the founders Kim and Alexander Barani originate from. Dishes included mutton biriyani from Sri Lanka; aloo pies – street food from Trinidad & Tobago; spinach and feta filo Pastries from Kosovo, Greek Salad, and desserts of cream teas, Eton mess and rhubarb and custard, of course from England.

A thoroughly great time was had by all, and everyone tried at least one new dish they had never eaten before. Speaking about the event. Kinetic co-founder Alexander Barani said: “It’s superb to join together as a unit within our workplace and celebrate our diversity, whilst bringing together a stronger community in the office. In light of everything that is going on in the world around us, it is important to stand together regardless of our colour, creed or heritage.”
