Hot on the heels of Veganuary (set to be the biggest yet), a new consumer event will take place in London Olympia on 1-2 February this year.

The inaugural Plant Powered Expo aims to inspire people and help keep the momentum going after Veganuary, while explaining the benefits of a plant-based way of life and introducing consumers to new foods and products.

“Here at Plant Based Expo we have everything you need whether you are vegan curious, a Veganuary participant, a big foodie or just simply would like to enjoy a great event,” explains event founder Tim Barford. “Plant Powered Expo is a brand new festival focusing on the benefits of a plant-based way of life, and we are descending upon Olympia London on 1-2 February 2020, offering Veganuary participants as well as wannabe vegans and the plant-based curious further support to ensure a smooth transition to plant-based living after January.”

The expo includes: a food court with caterers offering a wide range of global plant-based food; over 200 exhibitors showcasing products including vegan foods, supplements, skincare, clothing, leather-free bags and essential oils; entertainment including films and comedians; and informative sessions.

Guest speakers include one of the world’s strongest men Patrik Baboumian, Tesco’s Wicked Kitchen food range developer and co-founder Derek Sarno, Shambhu’s founder and head chef Nishma Shah, Dipalicious founder Omari McQueen, Raw Living director Kate Magic, clinical nutritionist Yvonne Bishop-Weston, and plant powered triathlete Kate Strong.
