Roots & Wings have announced a raft of new organic launches for autumn, including both sweet and savoury treats.

The brand’s new organic MultiSeed Brittles are savoury crunchy crackers packed with tasty pumpkin, sunflower, chia, flax and sesame seeds. Gluten- and dairy-free, so suitable for vegans, there are three combinations to choose from as well as a Selection Pack which is great for gifting.

The varieties are: MultiSeed Brittles Original; MultiSeed Brittles with Dates & Black Olives; MultiSeed Brittles with Black Olives & Sun Dried Tomatoes. The Brittles are slowly baked in the oven and broken by hand, so every pack is uniquely different, and they can topped and dipped or eaten as a handy snack eaten straight from the box.

Roots & Wings organic Seeded Biscuit Trio are perfect for cheese, soups and dips. There are three flavours to choose from –  Seeded Biscuit Original, Seeded Biscuits with Fennel and Seeded Biscuits with Chilli – and there is also a Seeded Biscuits Selection Pack.

The small batch biscuits are made using traditional techniques and with natural ingredients, combining sesame, nigella, caraway and fennel seeds with organic butter and cheddar.

Moving to the brand’s new sweet treats, its All Butter Shortbread Collection is made by hand in small batches and baked to ensure they have that ‘crisp snap that accompanies the melt in the mouth moment that makes shortbreads so enjoyable’.

There three varieties are All Butter Shortbread, Gently Warming Ginger Shortbread and Zingy Lemon Shortbread – also available in a Selection Box. The shortbreads are made with organic West Country butter and quality ingredients including organic crystallized ginger and zingy organic lemon oil from Sicily.

The shortbreads work as a versatile baking ingredient, says the brand, suggesting the Gently Warming Ginger Shortbread as a base for cheesecakes and the Lemon Shortbread as a lemon curd Eton mess.
