This year the Soil Association is offering organic producers and retailers the opportunity to capitalize on the growth of organics throughout the Christmas season via its rebranded online one-stop shop.

“Following the fantastic success of last year’s online Organic Christmas Market, we wanted to go bigger and better in 2016 by launching a standout marketplace for licensees large and small to showcase their Christmas products,” explains Clare McDermott, business development director, Soil Association Certification. “Inspired by our award-winning creative developed for the BOOMS, the new branding appeals to the organic consumer of today and is being used across social media and press to encourage visitors to the site.”

The Organic Collective showcases everything consumers need for the festive season and is filled with new and innovative products, gift ideas and tips to find local, ethical and organic produce.

The platform aims to provide inspiration to shoppers and make it easy for them to find and support local shops, stockists and producers, while providing producers and retailers with a hub by which to reach a new group of customers.

Searchable by product or region, the directory features a handy online map showing closest sources first.

The Soil Association is also sharing a content and digital tool kit, which includes everything to needed to create your own materials this Christmas, and there will be an enhanced and targeted consumer digital and media campaign designed to increase awareness of organic. The organization is also launching a weekly email marketing campaign for consumers to share offers, promos and content.

McDermott adds: “We know shoppers are more likely to buy organic at Christmas and we wanted to be able to show the huge variety of products available and help all Soil Association licensees by having a platform to sell and introduce your products to a new group of customers. Be sure to sign up and be part of the Collective to raise awareness of your brand and reach consumers old and new – and Soil Association licensees can gain access to all our fantastic Organic Christmas digital assets.”
