Following nearly two years of research and consultation, Diversified UK & Europe, the organisers of Natural & Organic Products Expo (NOPEX), have announced an exciting new format for Natural Food Expo.
In response to the changing landscape, the food sections of NOPEX will co-locate with the food sector’s leading trade shows lunch! and The National Restaurant, Pub & Bar Show from 2026 onwards. This show will be known as The Natural & Organic Food Show – under the umbrella banner, The London Food & Drink Shows.
Remaining at its Excel London home, this co-location will increase opportunities for exhibitors and visitors alike, ensuring that organic and natural food brands are showcased to a wider, more diverse audience of buyers, retailers, and foodservice professionals than ever before, yet retaining the unique atmosphere and sense of purpose that makes the Natural & Organic Products Expo so unique.
This move ensures that the brands we champion continue to thrive in an increasingly competitive marketplace and ensures that we move the natural food sector forward together
For nearly 30 years, Natural & Organic Products Expo (NOPEX) has been the home of organic and natural food, pioneering the movement and providing a vital platform for brands, buyers, and retailers. As the natural food industry has evolved from a niche category to a mainstream market force, the show has also evolved in recent years, shaped by shifting buying habits and the transformation of retail channels. Notably, the show has seen less crossover between the food sector and the more closely connected health, nutrition, and beauty categories. As a result, a growing number of visitors and exhibitors have expressed that the overall show experience lacked the clear focus and broad inclusivity needed to thrive in today’s dynamic market.
Georgina Baker, Event Director, explains: “Natural & Organic Products Expo has played a defining role in shaping the organic food movement in the UK. Now that organic and natural food has become a staple of mainstream retail, it’s time for us to take the next step in our journey and evolve alongside the changing landscape of the industry.”
She continues: “By co-locating The Natural & Organic Food Show with the food sector’s leading trade shows, we’re providing exhibitors with access to a wider audience of serious buyers while maintaining the sense of community and shared values that have always defined our event. This move, under the umbrella banner The London Food & Drink Shows, ensures that the brands we champion continue to thrive in an increasingly competitive marketplace and ensures that we move the natural food sector forward together.
“The sector is no longer confined to specialist retail, now holding a central place in supermarkets, convenience, hospitality, and food service. By integrating The Natural & Organic Food Show into a larger, highly focused food trade environment, exhibitors will gain a greater exposure to national and international buyers who are actively looking to expand their organic and natural ranges. We are evolving with the changing landscape while staying true to our roots. This move will provide the best possible opportunities for our exhibitors and visitors while reinforcing the strength of organic and natural food within the mainstream industry,” adds Baker.
Dates for 2026
The Natural & Organic Food Show will take place alongside lunch! and The National Restaurant, Pub & Bar Show at Excel London on the 16-17 September 2026.
NOPEX will continue as a standalone, dedicated trade event, providing a focused platform for the thriving natural health and beauty sectors in its new home at The Business Design Centre, with dates announced for the 22 – 23 June 2026.
