On 12–13 May, the Natural & Organic Products Expo (NOPEX) will take place in London. Ten Swedish food companies, together with Organic Sweden, will showcase their organic products in a joint pavilion. The initiative is part of the Organic Export UK export initiative, which aims to increase the export of Swedish organic food to the UK.

To build relationships with British buyers, Organic Sweden is arranging a joint pavilion at the Natural & Organic Products Expo, NOPEX, in London. Ten Swedish companies will be present at the Swedish stand: Berte Qvarn, Biofood, Camelina of Sweden, Dig, Fazer, Färsodlarna, Moonvalley, Nordic Chocolate, Oh Mungood and Svenska Lantchips.

“It’s fantastic to have such a strong group of Swedish organic producers, who represent quality, innovation and sustainability at all levels. It also feels natural to target the UK market, where the organic segment is growing and has a strong position. British consumers also have a positive image of Swedish organic products, which further strengthens our investment,” says Anton Järild, project manager at Organic Sweden.

The organic food market in the UK has been growing continuously for over thirteen years. Sales have increased despite economic challenges such as Brexit and the pandemic. The Soil Association’s Organic Market Report 2025 also shows that organic food sales increased four times more than conventional food sales in 2024. Interest in organic food from Sweden has also shown strength. A survey – conducted by the research institute Verian among conscious consumers in Greater London – shows that 73% of conscious Londoners have a positive image of organic food from Sweden.

“For us, NOPEX is a unique opportunity to show how Swedish-grown legumes fit into a future, more sustainable food culture. We look forward to meeting British players who share our view of the role of food in the transition,” says Oddgeir Hole, CEO of Färsodlarna.

“In our export initiative, we have ten fine companies with us that represent different parts of Swedish organic food production. Since the companies’ products are certified organic and have the EU’s organic label, they can easily communicate what requirements they live up to. Organic stands for both quality, sustainability and transparency,” says Charlotte Bladh André, CEO of Organic Sweden.

Organic Sweden’s pavilion, stand J80, can be found at the Main Stage in the exhibition hall where you can meet:

  • Berte Qvarn – organic flour and grain products – oats, wheat and rye
  • Biofood – superfoods, nuts and organic staples

Since 1997, the NOPEX fair has been one of Europe’s leading meeting places for organic products and in 2024 had over 7000 visitors, 600 exhibiting companies and 10,000 products from 74 different countries. The fair brings together buyers from retail, hotels and restaurants, manufacturing, import/export and wholesale.
