As we wrap up on day one of Natural & Organic Products Expo, with energy still high and the halls buzzing with innovation, we’re here to recap the highlights and offer a sneak peek into what awaits you tomorrow.
Organic Beauty in Focus
Day 1 of NOPEX saw the inaugural launch of Organic Beauty Monday. The Natural Beauty Expo joined forces with Soil Association Certification for this new initiative to highlight the growing influence of organic beauty within the industry.
As part of the celebration, the Soil Association hosted a series of insightful talks in the Beauty Theatre, all dedicated to the power and potential of organic beauty.
The day started with an intimate discussion with Sweet Bee Organics and Saira Skin on certified organic natural beauty and wellness. Other sessions included the Soil Association’s Organic Beauty Update and ‘Formulations & Functionality’ which saw Emma Dawes, Soil Association Technical Specialist demystify common questions on formulations for COSMOS Organic and natural products.
Organic Beauty Monday also saw the return of Influencing Organic & Natural Beauty in partnership with Soil Association Certification. As much as trade shows are about securing listings and retailer interest, they’re increasingly becoming a space for brands to connect with a broader range of media. Content creators offer more than just a chance at exposure – it’s a way to engage with communities that value authenticity and shared values.
The programme was hosted by Paige Tracey, consumer PR manager at Soil Association on the Natural Beauty Stage and included pitches from WholyMe, Inlight Beauty, Sweet Bee Organics, Naveen, UpCircle, Salt of the Earth, and Modern Botany.

Empowering Independent Health Stores
Independent Retailer Day returned for 2025, celebrating the work that independent health stores do for the natural & organic industry and our communities around the country. As part of the initiative several carefully curated seminars were held for indie retailers, including Empowering Independent Health Stores for Growth and Success.
This exclusive Health Stores UK Expert Panel, saw Dave Christie (Healthstores UK), Joanne Hill (Amaranth) Harriet Dean-Orange (Harriets of Hove) and Melanie Beard (Healthstores UK) take to the stage to discuss the everyday pressures facing independents – from shifting customer habits to online competition – while also highlighting how many are thriving by building loyal communities and innovating where larger retailers can’t. The session focused on sharing practical insights, celebrating resilience, and equipping store owners with ideas for the road ahead.
