Traidcraft has extended its Geobar Fruity and Geobar Trail ranges, both of which are gluten-free and carry the Fairtrade logo.

The Geobar Trail offer sees two new varieties: Cocoa & Beetroot, a raw fruit and nut wholefood bar packed with dates, raisins, cashews and cocoa; and Carrot & Stem Ginger, made with dates, raisins, cashews and ground ginger. Both bars come in packs of three and count as one of your five a day.

Meanwhile, Cocoa Crunch and Banana & Walnut flavours have joined the Geobar Trail family. Cocoa Crunch is a raw fruit and oat wholefood energy bar containing dates, raisins and cocoa with soya crispies; and the Banana & Walnut bar is crammed with dates, raisins and bananas along with crunchy walnuts and soya crispies.

“At Traidcraft we have decades of experience developing and innovating new fair trade products,” says Jenny File, product marketing manager at Traidcraft, “and we’re thrilled to announce this latest ‘fair trade first’ in our extensive range.

“It’s great to be able to offer consumers a gluten-free option, further extending the popular ‘free-from’ category whilst also changing the lives of smallholder farmers, one bite at a time.”
