Nordic Roots

Green People’s latest natural and organic skincare concept Nordic Roots draws on founder Charlotte Vøhtz’s Danish upbringing and Nordic heritage, using the region’s native flora and fauna to deliver ‘powerful results’.

With a nod to the Scandinavian values of simplicity and honesty, Nordic Roots combines pure active ingredients to create a scent-free, gender-neutral functional skincare range that works in harmony with skin’s natural pH-balance.

The key actives include the richly hydrating amino acid betaine (a sugar beet by-product) to moisturize and protect the skin, and apple cellular water (a by-product from the production of apple chips) to boost skin elasticity and refine skin tone. Requiring no preservatives or additives, this sustainable ingredient makes for a cleaner formula.

Hop flowers are used in the formulation to target hyperpigmentation and age spots, revitalizing skin texture; vitamin E-rich oat kernel extract to calm and soothe redness and irritation; and Atlantic seaweed to boost collagen, supporting the skins structure and firming skin.

The range incorporates:

Cranberry Micellar Foam For Active Cleansing – a refreshing cleanser to leave skin clean, calm and comfortable blending organic plant extracts with make-up dissolving micelles to effectively cleanse the skin.

Hyaluronic Booster Serum For Intensive Hydration – a plumping renewal serum that delivers instant hydration, leaving the skin deeply nourished, calm and smooth.

Apple Complex Moisturiser For Maximum Moisture – enriched with plant-based emollients to help restore, balance and protect the skin barrier, this soothing, skin-calming cream also activates hydration.

Marine Facial Oil For Glowing Skin – a collagen-boosting elixir enriched with Atlantic seaweed to support skin structure, firm, hydrate and renew.

The Nordic Roots range uses an innovative new sustainable outer packaging solution that is incorporated with 25% grass, offering a clean carton board that is compostable, biodegradable and 100% recyclable.
