Kallø launches new thai curry veggie cakes inspired by on-trend asian flavours

Kallø, the pioneering natural snacking B Corp brand owned by Ecotone UK, is extending its best-selling Veggie Cakes range with a new Thai Curry flavour.

In meeting the growing demand for tasty Asian flavours, Kallø Thai Curry Veggie Cakes offer a unique and delicious taste combined with the goodness of plant-based ingredients.

The new variant is crafted with a rich aroma inspired by Thai Green Curry with a creamy coconut taste, diversifying the acclaimed Veggie Cakes range with flavours from around the world.

Supporting a new generation of health-seeking snackers, Kallø Veggie Cakes are made with a high-protein blend of lentil and peas that offer a crispy texture – making them a more nutritious savoury snack choice.

The HFSS-compliant snacks contain 13 jumbo-sized veggie cakes, that can be enjoyed plain, topped or dipped, making them versatile for multiple usage occasions. Kallø Thai Curry Veggie Cakes will be available in Waitrose and Ocado from the 8th of April for the limited-edition promotional price of £2.00 (£2.75 RRP).

Adele Ward, Kallø Marketing Director at Ecotone UK, says: “When faced with deciding between snack options, shoppers are often divided between tasty or healthy. With Kallø Veggie Cakes, we’ve proven that healthier choices don’t have to be dull. Thai Curry Veggie Cakes are an embodiment of that sentiment. The product offers all the outstanding nutritional benefits provided by plants coupled with the most delicious, aromatic curry flavour. A fantastic addition to the Veggie Cakes line-up that we’re confident will drive category growth.

Suitable for vegetarians and gluten free, Veggie Cakes contain no preservatives, artificial colours, or flavours and also offer a natural high source of plant protein and fibre – bridging the gap for consumers becoming more interested in their health.
