New from Suma – Vegan Spaghetti Bolognese & Organic Coconut Milk Light

Fresh for Veganuary Suma Wholefoods is launching two new plant-based canned products.

Suma is going retro with the latest addition to its already extensive vegan convenience range – a plant-based spaghetti Bolognese. Made from soya mince and durum wheat pasta in a rich tomato sauce with onions and herbs, it’s the first of its kind available. It’s ideal for those trying Veganuary; an easy meat-free swap.

Kate Willis, Suma’s product development co-ordinator, says: “They’re perfect for those ‘what’s for dinner’ moments. When the fridge looks a little bare, on camping trips, for students missing the comfort of home cooking. Or when you’re just hungry and short on time.”

The new organic light coconut milk has just 10% of the fat of standard coconut milk, making it a great dairy alternative for sweet or savour dishes, and healthier too. With continued growth in vegan and flexitarian diets, this is a great product to stock.

And it’s made with coconuts grown by a farmers’ co-operative in Vietnam, so customers can be sure that they’re not only getting a creamy product, they’re supporting businesses that gives people ownership of their work.
