Natural beauty industry rallies during ‘unprecedented times’

The natural beauty industry is rallying in response to the challenges currently faced by many in business as a result or the coronavirus outbreak.

“I’m planning something to help the natural beauty industry,” Ailish Lucas, founder of The Glow Getter Collective, tells NPN as she announces she will be running a free online event to help natural businesses to ‘thrive online during this unprecedented time’.

The virtual summit goes live on Wednesday 25 March at 10am and will consist of a series of interviews with a range of business, natural beauty and marketing experts.

Among the industry experts lending their time and knowledge are: Lorraine Dallmeier, founder of Formula Botanica; Jayn Sterland, managing director of Weleda UK; Millie Kendall, CEO of the British Beauty Council; and Aaron Chatterley, founder of Feelunique. Also joining Lucas’ panel are Carrie Green, founder of Female Entrepreneur Association and Lucy Griffiths, founder of Lucy Griffiths video marketing consultancy, which helps people gain confidence in speaking to camera on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram Stories.

“There are no pitches, nothing is being sold at the end,” says Lucas. “The focus is just to help natural beauty brands.
