UK kefir brand Biotiful Dairy has added a line of kefir ice creams to its growing product portfolio, entering the frozen category for the first time.
The Kefir Frozen Desserts are described as smooth and creamy, with a ‘refreshing kefir tanginess’ and are available in three variants: Vanilla, Chocolate and Cherry.
Made in the UK using British milk, the desserts combine the brand’s award-winning kefir and gut-friendly cultures and are aimed at consumers looking for a healthy, gut-friendly alternative to traditional dairy ice creams.
“After recognizing a gap in the frozen market for kefir products, it made perfect sense for us to take our expertise to a new category,” says Biotiful Dairy founder Natasha Bowes. “The aim is to provide an even wider range of delicious products for those already familiar with kefir, as well as bring new consumers into natural gut health by offering a unique product range that couples great taste with better nutrition.”
Packaged in 500ml recyclable tubs, Kefir Frozen Desserts provide billions of gut-friendly bacteria and are a natural source of protein.
At 75 calories per scoop, the brand claims they are lower in sugar than the UK’s leading ice cream brand tub and contain no artificial colours or preservatives.
