Long standing favourite snacking option of the vegetarian world Panda Liquorice has made it official after receiving approval from the Vegetarian Society to use the Vegetarian Society logo on packs.

Although the brand has always been Vegetarian and is this year enjoying its 30th birthday, the team at Panda wanted to utilise the well known “stamp of approval” to make it easier for customers to quickly identify the snack as being free from any animal ingredients.

A familiar face in the health food world, Panda is renowned for its clean attitude and its no nasties policy on ingredients. “It’s always of utmost importance to make sure we continue to offer such a clean, delicious and moreish confectionery product,” says Lisa Gawthorne, director at Bravura Foods and long time vegan.
