Pinks Boutique urges spas to go organic this September

To coincide with Organic September, Pinks Boutique is inviting spas and salons to take part in its own celebration of organic beauty.

The brand has created specially-designed artwork and downloadable guides, resources and templates to help participating spas and salons showcase their commitment to offering clientele a certified organic choice throughout the month.

A number of high profile accounts have already confirmed their involvement including The Scarlet, Eastthorpe Hall, Dart Marina and The Potting Shed to name just a few.

“Spas and salons still hold the best professional advice a consumer can get,” says brand founder Kirstie Sherriff.

“As an industry overall, we really need to work with and support our therapists to give detailed educative skin and body care advice. The initial response to the Festival has been incredibly positive and we’d love to see more like-minded businesses join in to make it a great success.

“Unfortunately, there can be a world of difference between a beauty product that has been certified and one that is merely described as ‘organic’ on the label. The national press recently highlighted the problem of ‘greenwashing’, so to ensure a product is guaranteed organic, look for the Soil Association symbol on the product before you buy,” adds Kirstie.

”Our products are manufactured and regularly audited to ensure they adhere to the Soil Association’s strict criteria so that both consumers, and the spas and salons that retail and use them in treatments, can trust them and be confident of their authenticity.”
