FAIR SQUARED

Fairtrade health and bodycare brand FAIR SQUARED has introduced a line of soap bars using natural organic ingredients and offering varieties for face, hair and body.

The range has been developed by native Syrian Mohamad Khiro, who owned a soap company in Aleppo before leaving after the outbreak of the civil war and joining FAIR SQUARED in 2019.

The Hair Soap bar collection comprises: Apricot for mature, dry and sensitive scalps, with shea butter and olive oil; Shea for dry hair and sensitive scalp with babassu oil for gentle cleansing; Olive for normal and lacklustre hair with olive oil for shine and volume; and Coconut for greasy hair.

The Facial Soaps include: Apricot for sensitive and dry skin with apricot, shea and olive oils for gentle cleansing and chamomile tea for a calming effect; Olive for all skin types; Shea for dry skin; and a classic Black soap for all skin types which uses charcoal for deep cleansing and is produced using an ancient recipe.

Included in the Body Cleansing line are: Apricot for sensitive skin; Coconut with foaming action and coconut flakes for exfoliation to aid blood circulation; Shea Body Soap; and All In One Olive Body Soap for all skin types, a hand and body soap with olive oil, shea butter and coconut oil.

The range also includes Khiro’s Aleppo Soap which is suitable for skin and hair care and believed to have been used by Cleopatra. It is created by traditional, ancient techniques using olive oil and sustainably grown laurel oil.

The soaps are created using a carbon neutral process and packaged in Fair Squared’s new zero waste packaging and come in an organic cotton storage bag.

The new products are registered with The Vegan Society and certified natural and organic by NATRUE.
