In a major cross-portfolio initiative, Diversified Communications UK (publisher of Natural Products Global and Natural Products News) will next month launch Supplier Connect, a new global, online directory for the international natural and organic community.

In its first phase, Supplier Connect will bring together hundreds of manufacturers, distributors and brands from the UK, Europe and around the world in a highly searchable, information rich directory that allows users to message key personnel, direct from a company’s Supplier Connect page.

As well as being an important new addition to the Natural Products Global (NPG) news platform, Supplier Connect forms part of a package of additional ‘virtual solutions’ for exhibitors at Diversified’s UK, Scandinavian and Iberian trade shows. Exhibitors at all of the company’s natural and organic events – Natural & Organic Products EuropeNordic Organic Food Fair, Eco Life Scandinavia, Organic Food Iberia and Eco Living Iberia – will receive a free, unique page where they can list product and service details and contact information. Higher level packages will enable more interactivity and allow companies to host promotional videos on their page. 

The launch of Supplier Connect is being supported by a high profile marketing campaign, which will reach over 120,000 industry contacts.

Commenting on the launch, Carol Dunning, event director for Natural & Organic Products Europe, says: “With no Natural & Organic Products Europe this year, we know our exhibitors and visitors missed the show as much as we did. While nothing can replace the experience and opportunities offered by the show itself, which will always be the best place to make connections and generate new business, when exhibitors asked us to create some virtual opportunities to connect with potential customers and partners over the coming weeks and months, we were listening. We hope Supplier Connect will do just that.”
