The King’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the UK, with over 7000 companies achieving an award since they were first established in 1965. 2024 marks the second year of The King’s Awards for Enterprise, celebrating the success of exciting and innovative businesses which are leading the way with pioneering products or services, delivering impressive social mobility programmes, or showing their commitment to excellent sustainable development practices. They are the highest official UK awards for British businesses.

Amanda Winwood, CEO Made for Life Organics and Founder of the Made for Life Foundation is to be presented with the award by one of The King’s representatives, a Lord-Lieutenant within the county of Cornwall where she resides and has been invited to a Royal Reception at Windsor Castle during July.

Amanda Winwood, Founder of Made for Life Organics says of the honour of recognition:

“We are absolutely delighted to receive the highly prestigious King’s Award for Sustainable Development.  We are the first organic skincare brand and training provider of Touch Therapy Training for those living with cancer and other long term health issues to win this particular award. It is an incredible accolade. The Made for Life team have always been very proud of what we have achieved – both in terms of looking after the planet and people’s wellbeing.  This award proves that the Kings Awards are inclusive and that you don’t have to be huge in number to be great and change lives….for the better.”
