Veganicity has added a new Omega-3 DHA:EPA supplement as well as a Pea Protein Powder to its offer.

The Omega-3 DHA:EPA supplement is made from the Schizochytrium sp algae and aims to offer vegans an easy way to obtain omega-3 in their diets.

The company says that although algae often only provides docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), this algae also contains good levels of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), with two capsules providing the recommended daily 500mg per day of omega-3.

The Pea Protein Powder has been designed as a simple way to add protein to everyday meals. Simon Bandy, Veganicity’s general manager, says of the new product: “Our natural and unflavoured Pea Protein Powder boasts a whopping 80% protein content. It can be taken easily one to three times a day and can be mixed with water, juice, soya or almond milk or blended into smoothies, soups and even pancakes.”

Veganicity is registered with The Vegan Society and strives to provide vegans and vegetarians with a comprehensive choice of nutritional supplements.
