King Rice Bran Oil rebrands as study shows health benefits

King Rice Bran Oil has recently had a significant overhauls of its branding and packaging following consumer feedback.

The brand, owned by Thai Edible, has created bespoke European packaging which it hopes better reflects the expectations of the market outside Asia. The company says that the clean, crisp feel of the new packaging aims to convey the natural origins of the extra cold filtered oil and the purity of the ingredients.

In the wake of the rebrand, a new study conducted by researchers from the College of Food Science & Nutritional Engineering, China Agricultural University and the China National Research Institute of Food & Fermentation Industries has highlighted the health benefits of rice bran oil. The study found that oryzanol, a unique antioxidant found in rice bran oil, may help to reduce fats and sugars in the blood, lower insulin resistance and reduce levels of fat in the liver.

King Rice Bran Oil uses no GMO ingredients and is manufactured with a high level of social and environmental integrity.
