Wellbeing brand Simone Thomas Wellness has announced a new partnership with Powermed Plus to help secure in-store presence in health food shops and pharmacies across the UK, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the United States. Boundless Activated Snacking has confirmed a series of new wholesalers and listings for its latest format of Activated Chips, a 23g grab-and-go bag. The new packs have been listed in Holland & Barrett and are now part of the meal deal in all WHSmith Travel sites, as well as launching into Exeter University – the first challenger brand to do so. Boundless also recently launched the range into several major offices, including LinkedIn, and its 30g Activated Nuts & Seeds and 23g Activated Chips are now available on the Eurostar. Available in two flavours – Chipotle & Lime and Sea Salt & Cider Vinegar – the Activated Chips are made using sprouted sorghum which, thanks to the unique soaking of the ancient supergrain, enables a better uptake of the nutrients meaning it’s great for the gut.

Australian sugar-free soft drink brank Nexba has added three new Sparkling Nootropic SKUs to its portfolio. Made with only natural and active nootropic ingredients the drinks are designed to provide a tasty wellness boost, supporting a healthy body and mind. Initially launching into 663 Holland & Barrett stores, the refreshments aims to boost the brain, calm the nerves and support healthier skin. Nexba FOCUS Sparkling Nootropic features zingy passionfruit, ginseng, green tea and vitamin D to help fight the fuzzies and aid concentration; GLOW Sparkling Nootropic is a refreshing pink grapefruit drink with ginkgo biloba, aloe vera and vitamins A and C to promote a natural glow; CALM Sparkling Nootropic is a blueberry drink with chamomile, vitamin B6 and ashwagandha, to promote feelings of tranquillity for those with on-the-go lifestyles.

Moving Mountains Foods has unveiled what it describes as a radical rebrand designed to shake up its shelf presence and clearly communicate its ethos of taking consumers on a flavour adventure. The makeover will see its plant-based products sport a new logo and packaging as well as a revamped website. Commenting on the move, Moving Mountains’ founder and CEO Simeon Van Der Molen says: “We are hugely proud to unveil this new concept and design for the brand, one which we feel truly sets up apart in this extremely competitive market. We were the first company to bring realistic plant-based meat to the UK and this rebrand shows we are still hungry for change and committed to pioneering innovative products that taste amazing.” The rebrand was undertaken with design agency Pearlfisher.

Healthy snack bar brand KIND has introduced new Thins in two of the brand’s flavour favourites: Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt and Caramel Nuts & Sea Salt. Available in multipacks and singles, the bars come in at under 100 calories and aim to satisfy the snack craving while remaining nutrient-dense by using almonds as the number one ingredient. The bars boast a new soft and chewy texture and, as with the rest of the range, are high in fibre, gluten-free and contain no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives. KIND’s UK marketing director Audrey Arbeeny, comments: “We know that portion-controlled offerings are becoming more important to consumers with increasing legislation hitting the UK.
