Natural skincare goes Beyond

From the Beyond Organic label comes Beyond Naturals, a new range of 100% natural or naturally-derived skincare products.

The company says this new non-organic range offers the same performance and purity as its certified organic products, but at half the price, citing the high cost of certified raw ingredients and certification as the reason for this marked difference in pricing.

The range consists of 13 products, three of which are specific for acne-prone skin, and includes Cooling Eye Gel, Foaming Cleanser, Fresh Crystal Deodorant, Rich 24 Hour Moisturizer, Treatment Gel and Clarifying Toner.

A variety of natural botanical extracts are used in the range, including aloe vera, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, cucumber and chamomile, along with specially selected oils.

Ideal for sensitive skin, the products contain no synthetic chemicals and are suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Company founder Marianne Tregoning, commented on the launch:  “We launched the natural range to complement our certified organic range in recognition that not everybody can afford certified organic.  With this range we can offer pure effective products to many more people.

“When I launched Beyond I wanted my customers to know that when we said natural we meant it.  There are too many skincare ranges on the market today making ‘natural’ claims when in reality only a small proportion of the ingredients are natural.  Our customers can be confident that our product are nothing less than 90% and in some cases 100% natural and the percentage of all the ingredients used are clearly itemised on the packaging.  This is important for people to know, especially when you think that as much as 60% of what you put on your skin is absorbed into your body.”
