Salt of the Earth has relaunched its gender neutral roll-on deodorants in new refillable packaging, along with fresh formulas and fragrances.

Already offering refillable spray and stick deodorants, Salt of the Earth says this is the first time a major brand has created a fully refillable roll-on which will help consumers significantly reduce their plastic consumption (the refillable roll-on will use 65% less plastic than a disposable version) and save money.

The new design was created by British firm Rodd Design to provide a more ergonomic and user-friendly product with a bigger roller ball for better application and a simple unscrew roller pack which makes refilling simple.

The special refill bottle reduces the chance of spillage and contains up to seven refills from one 525ml bottle, with a five litre refill option also available to retailers.

The existing products – Ocean & Coconut, Ginger & Jasmine and Lavender & Vanilla – have been reformulated with improved fragrance performance, quicker drying time and enhanced moisture levels, and two new additions have been unveiled: Sweet Strawberry and Neroli & Orange Blossom.

Made with natural mineral salts, plant extracts and essential oils to help neutralize body odour, the roll-ons are free from aluminium chlorohydrate and alcohol. All ingredients are certified COSMOS Natural, and the products are approved by The Vegan Society and Leaping Bunny.

The packaging is fully recyclable and made with post-consumer recycled plastic.
