Natural brands fight breast cancer

With Breast Cancer Awareness Month coming up this October, well-known natural brands are busy doing their bit to support people living with the disease.

Throughout October, Giovanni is donating five per cent of retail sales on its D:Tox and hair care ranges to breast cancer charities. Meanwhile, Spiezia Organics is launching its Made for Life calendar, which features inspiring images of women who have experienced breast cancer, or are currently going through treatment.

Sales from the calendar (available here) support the Made for Life foundation, which provides complementary days for women living with cancer.

“So much goodwill goes into this calendar and all money raised from sales goes to supporting future Made for Life events,” says Amanda Barlow, MD of Spiezia Organics and founder of the Made for Life Foundation.

“This calendar puts all the little issues we face on a daily basis into perspective – these women have all been through the most tumultuous time and they are absolutely inspiring.”
