Launched earlier this year, organic baby food brand Piccolo has introduced four new flavours.

piccoloPromising to take ‘little ones on a taste adventure’, the new varieties are: Mango, Apple & Kale with a dash of yoghurt; Raspberry & Apple with Soaked Oats; Banana, Strawberry & Peach with a hint of Mint; and Sweet Potato, Beetroot, Apple & Pear.

Designed to encourage babies to explore and experience new flavours, the Piccolo offer now includes ten stage one blends suitable for children from about six months old.

Cat Gazzoli, former CEO of Slow Food UK and founder of Piccolo, commented: “Each Piccolo pouch is thoughtfully prepared by our team of experts, led by our in house infant nutritionist, with a primary focus on great taste and unrivalled quality. Establishing positive relationships with food is essential in the early days of weaning and therefore introducing delicious flavours is key.

“At Piccolo we are on a mission to encourage and support healthy eating from six months and I hope our exciting flavours and organic goodness will help support parents to feel confident as they embark on the early days of weaning and beyond. My Italian roots, background in food education and passion for good, honest and natural food have played a big part in making Piccolo what it is and I certainly hope our most important testers, the babies, approve!”

The brand works in partnership with the NCT and commits 10% of its profits to food education.
