Organic Food Iberia – Spain’s first dedicated organic trade show – saw a successful launch in Madrid over 6-7 June, which included a vibrant outdoors awards ceremony and drinks reception.

Ministerial-level representation at the show, and the presence of leading figures from across the European organic community, reflected the importance attached to establishing a high-visibility organic showcase in the Iberian region.

Co-located with Eco Living Iberia, the two-day event – organized jointly by Diversified Communications and IFEMA, Madrid – attracted thousands of specialist retailers, supermarket and foodservice buyers, distributors, wholesalers, importers and exporters, looking to source everything from organic food and wine to sustainable health and beauty products.

The launch edition featured 500 exhibiting companies and pavilions from Andalucia, Valencia, Catalonia, Murcia, Intereco, Ecovalia, PortugalBio, Galicia, Madrid, La Rioja, Basque Country, and Extremadura.
