Sports nutrition brand Bio-Synergy has entered the natural nootropic category with the launch of Limitless.

Designed to empower users with greater memory, focus, learning potential, concentration and multi-tasking abilities, the product combines l-theanine, ginkgo biloba, bacopa monnieri, betaine, vitamins and a small amount of caffeine to gently improve alertness.

“Natural nootropics is not a new category, we created our first nootropic six years ago, but the science and technology weren’t around to perfect the product and take it to market,” explains Bio-Synergy founder Daniel Herman. “We’ve spent the last five years experimenting with ingredient combinations and testing them within our team of athletes, until we came up with what we believe is the first effective brain booster on the UK market.”

With consumers focused on reducing caffeine and sugar intake, nootropics provide an energy boosting and mind-enhancing effect without some of the drawbacks of traditional energy drinks, says the brand. “The appetite for nootropics in the US is enormous and only getting bigger; I predict similar growth in the UK over the next few years and am very excited to see where this category will take us,” adds Herman.
